Skylighter's policies are to stop people from making M-80's and other illegal fireworks and they only have restrictions on a few very fine aluminums which are used in illegal exploding fireworks.
What are you trying to make? You probably don't need as fine of an aluminum as you think, unless you are making M-80's, then I'm glad they stopped you.Where can i get aluminum powder?
the best place i found that you can get it is at a marine supply store its sold in there fiberglass section and its about $12 for half a pound
I'm guessing it's hard to purchase because it can be used as an ingredient in explosives. So I think there are restrictions, period. You would probably need special paperwork and permits to buy it.
