I figure you made about $26000 last year. According to the current Occupational Outlook Handbook, your boss is paying you in the lowest 10% of what people doing the same job are making in the US. However, you need to take into account the economy in Toledo, which I know to be very depressed. So, if you figure you'd work the same number of hours, more or less, and make $15/hour (instead of $17 plus, cuz its Toledo), your salary should be about $37.000. However, you didn't say whether with a salary comes benefits (insurance, etc) -- that makes a difference. If so, if the benefits package is pretty good, I'd say $35,000 would be a good number to start negotiating with.

Good luck!
