What's the Difference between Powder coating & Spray Painting? ?

I have a powder coated/Painted MS pipe. i wants to know which type of painting this, Powder coated/Spray Painted. Is there any methods to identify this by manually like visual inspection, scratch test etc.....What's the Difference between Powder coating %26amp; Spray Painting? ?
Spray painted: Will have smooth shiny surface finish. will easily peel off when scratched with sharp object, even nail.

Powder coat: Will have slightly dull surface with small dimples as ingolf ball. Scratch resistant as the process undergoes heat treatment. Costlier proceduce than spraying. But long lasting, maintenance free. What's the Difference between Powder coating %26amp; Spray Painting? ?
Spray painting : Method used is atomising liquid paint to pass through

nozzle using compressed air. Some times air locking may cause

blistering under paint layer.Finish can be glossy or matty.Generally do not require heat for curing.

Airless spray method is also adopted with high pressure. No chance of air trapping under paint surface.Better paint adhering to metal / primed surface.Generally do not require heat for curing.

Powder coating has electrostatic adhering property needs heat curing , matty surface finish.
powder coating requires the parts be heated for the finish to set up , painting does not
