How do i fix a scratch in powder coating?

on my gas cap for my 69 mustang, i powder-coated a part of it, but a scratch was made when it got dropped. would it be wise to fill in the scratch with some more powder and re-heat it, or what?How do i fix a scratch in powder coating?
reheat it, powdercoating melts at aprox. 380 to 400 degrees.

ur actual gas cap got scratched up? if thats the case just get another one and prime and coat it... you have to prime that section again if you didnt the first time then go over it with powder
