Does a high quality powder coating system produce better results?

I am going to start doing some powder coating and am going to buy a powder coating system...I want the paint to look good and last long like powder coating is supposed to. My question is what system should I buy? Is there a big difference from higher end models to lower end models? or do they all produce fairly the same results in quality and looks? Would like to here from anyone that powder coats, any advice or information would be great, thanks...Does a high quality powder coating system produce better results?
After being in the trades for a very long time, and applying thousands of gallons of various paints by various methods, I know this much. ';The MASTER is only as good as his tools.';

(Analogy) I can paint a house with an off brand 4 inch brush, or with an expensive, well known brand name. I already know the qualities of both, and could take my chances with the Ho-Hum

brush. Perhaps even wasting time with extremely obvious brush strokes I'll have to try and smooth out, or picking bristles out of the finish as they shed from the low end brush, BUT WHY would I want to?)

That said, and with no offense meant; QUALITY has no add on words that support it. Something is either a quality product or job, or it isn't. There are no degrees.

Consider too the use, anything coated will get, and the customer. BTW another thing I know. The Customer is always ';right'; even when they aren't. Certainly you have no real liability for HOW a product you've coated is used, other than in the quality of your work, your choice of equipment understanding the tool, and the coatings you use.

If you have the opportunity you should comparitively shop. You need to know QUALITIES of the equipment, features, relaibility, warauntees, serviceability, etc. That extends to materials used, WHO manufactured the spray equipment, tolerances levels in it, even to threads in fittings, etc.

A very valid quote is your best answer. ';You get what you pay for.'; Besides that, at the ';TOP END'; the similarities or differences should be minimal, other than features.
