Powder coating Engine?

I want to powder coat parts of my engine but can put my starter and other engine parts in an oven for 20mins? i know engine get hot but 400 for 20 mins sounds like it might be bad for it? what can i and can not powder coat?Powder coating Engine?
Like said, you must take things like starters, alts, etc apart and just coat the outside case, then put them back together.

You can do water pump too but it has to be type of pump that you can take the back plate off of, get to impler and remove all gaskets/seals, etc then coat and put back togetherPowder coating Engine?
You don't powder coat a starter, you powder coat the starter housing with all internals removed. Same with alternators, just powder coat the case. Parts like water pumps are best not messed with for fear of messing up the seals. Intakes, oilpans, valve covers are easily powder coated. I have done numerous myself.
if you powder coat the engine block and starter, the thin layer of powder cooating may throw of crucial allignments liek starter to ring gear and tranny to engine. i wouldnt recommend it
seems like the coating on the windings of the starter would suffer
