I want to powder coat my lt250r frame and i was just wondering is it really hard that hard to take apart the whole quad.Powder coating atv frame?
taking it apart is the easy part. putting it back together is much harder. make sure you disassemble it it an organized fashion. making sure not to lose anything. the best way i found is to have an exploded view of your quad (microfisch) or service manuak as microfisch are becoming harder to find. also; make sure you tape off any bearing casings (housings) on your frame such as swingarm, steering head, or any other things that a bearing would go into.
