Powder Coating Break Calipers?

These guys at my local body shop are saying you cant Powder Coat Brembo breaks because its not good for the breaks ... are they just bsing me? They say they are going to paint it rather then powder coat it.Powder Coating Break Calipers?
I would also just use High Temperature paint. Powder coating is a waste. What happens when you need a rebuilt caliper? It's far easier to paint a rebuilt one than to powder coat itPowder Coating Break Calipers?
don't do it thair right !!!!!!
Well the calipers can be painted with heat resistent paint and most of those are metallic. and the powder coating is cool too. but if you have the brembo logo why do u want to paint on it?
The powder coating is baked on for a while at a high temperature in order for it to go from powder to liquid to solid. The caliper would need total disassembly and very careful masking to be done right,a job for the manufacturer.
