Can you give me an ice cream coating recipe using a cocoa powder?

iam doing a recipe of a coating, but it turns out as a fudge than an ice cream coating... it does not solidfy when the ice cream bar was dipped. help!!! thanksCan you give me an ice cream coating recipe using a cocoa powder?
Sue's Hot Fudge Sauce





INGREDIENTS


1 cup butter


1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder


3 cups white sugar


1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk


1 teaspoon vanilla extract


DIRECTIONS


Combine butter, cocoa, sugar and evaporated milk in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil and boil for 7 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Carefully pour hot mixture into a blender and blend for 2 to 4 minutes. Serve immediately. Store in refrigerator.





Chocolate Sauce





2 cups boiling water


1 cup white sugar


2 tablespoons cornstarch


1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder


1 teaspoon salt


2 teaspoons vanilla extract


2 tablespoons butter





To make chocolate sauce: In a saucepan, combine water, 1 cup sugar, cornstarch, cocoa powder and 1 teaspoon salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat and add vanilla and 2 tablespoons butter; stir until smooth.





Chocolate Dipping Sauce





INGREDIENTS


1 1/2 cups brown sugar


3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa


1/4 cup all-purpose flour


1 cup water


1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk


2 tablespoons butter


2 teaspoons vanilla extract


DIRECTIONS


In a medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, cocoa and flour. Stir in water, a little at a time, to make a smooth paste. Stir in milk and butter. Bring to a boil over medium heat and let boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Let cool completely at room temperature, stirring often to prevent a skin from forming. Store in refrigerator after cooling.





Chocolate Sauce

2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa


1 2/3 cups white sugar


1 1/4 cups water


1 teaspoon vanilla extract


DIRECTIONS


In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine cocoa, sugar and water. Bring to a boil and let boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.





Chocolate Gravy I





INGREDIENTS


1 cup white sugar


1 tablespoon self-rising flour


1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder


1 1/4 cups water


1 tablespoon butter


DIRECTIONS


In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, flour and cocoa powder. Add water and stir. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally until thick. Remove from heat and add butter. Serve warm.Can you give me an ice cream coating recipe using a cocoa powder?
In my humble opinion the best ice cream coating is dark chocolate, which consists of cocoa, cocoa butter and a variable amount of sugar. Just melt it and pour it over the ice cream, or dip the ice cream in it.
