How long does it take to powder coat alloys?

i want to get my alloys powder coated white. how long does it take, how long will they need my wheels for?How long does it take to powder coat alloys?
Actual powder coating takes very little time, however the prep work before the powder coating can take some time.

Depending on the amount of work the company has on you could expect to wait between three days and two weeks.

Ja.How long does it take to powder coat alloys?
Anyone willing to powder coat your wheels will do the prep work. This is because they'll need to be sandblasted to prep the surface.

It can take a few hours to bake the coating on. Otherwise, it wouldn't get a good bond to your wheel.

What might take a while is the amount of work a company has. It would depend on their back log of work. Most companies maintain this so they can keep their employees busy.
powder coating with plastic paint powders takes a few seconds or minutes, heating %26amp; cooling a kiln of items takes several hours, I imagine. allow a week per batch to be done. preparation is everything-that is where you can lower the cost, by DIY properly. BTW colour range is V limited.
best thing to do is phone around a few powder coating places and see if they can do it for you, ask timescales and prices...
less than a day to do normal lead time 2-3days...have a look on kellysearch for companies near you.
